Spanish Explorer
This tour highlights the heart of Castilla, taking in the most important sites in the capital as well as the beautiful and historic cities of Segovia, Avila and Salamanca. Segovia, once the centre of the royal court, is justly famous for its unrivaled aqueduct, the forbidding Alcazar and its cuisine. Avila's medieval walls are the best- preserved in Europe. Salamanca's university was one of the finest in the Middle Ages and its reputation remains strong today. Many consider Salamanca to be one of Spain's loveliest cities.
