Wells and Wessex This is a variation of the Choral Tour of Wessex with the group staying in Wells. We accommodate our groups in a beautiful old coaching hotel with views over the cathedral and its close. We are excited to have developed a contact with Exeter Cathedral. We feel that it is one of England's finest cathedrals but, as it is a little off the beaten path, is often ignored. By staying in Wells we are able to include it in this itinerary. Concerts in Salisbury and Wells Cathedrals together with services in Romsey Abbey and Winchester Cathedral make a top class performance schedule.

Day 1 ON TRANS-ATLANTIC FLIGHT Depart U.S.
Day 2 ARRIVE IN LONDON – TRANSFER TO WELLS (8 NIGHTS) Windsor Castle or Hampton Court
Day 3 EXETER Exeter Cathedral, Lyme Regis in the afternoon 1.15pm concert in Exeter Cathedral
Day 4 DAY TRIP TO SALISBURY Roof Tour of Salisbury Cathedral, Free time in Salisbury, Stonehenge Lunchtime concert in Salisbury Cathedral
Day 5 FREE DAY or DAY TRIP TO LONDON Bus provided but no admissions included Dinner not included
Day 6 DAY TRIP TO ROMSEY Romsey Abbey, Broadlands,(picnic if the weather is suitable) Sung Eucharist and Choral Evensong in Romsey Abbey
Day 7 DAY IN WELLS Guided Tour of Wells Cathedral, Free Time in Wells 1.05 pm concert in Wells Cathedral.
Day 8 DAY TRIP TO BATH Roman Baths, Bath Abbey, Glastonbury Abbey and Tor Informal concert in Glastonbury Abbey
Day 9 DAY TRIP TO WINCHESTER Introductory Walking Tour of Cathedral Precincts and River, Guided Tour of Winchester Cathedral 5.30pm Choral Evensong in Winchester Cathedral
Day 10 DEPARTURE Transfer to airport for flight back to U.S. |
