Day 1 LONDON - NAPLES - AMALFI - SORRENTO (2 nights)

Depart Gatwick on your direct flight to Naples. On arrival we will take the autostrada around the Bay of Naples before driving along the famously scenic road along the Amalfi coast. We will have time to wander and have lunch at Amalfi and visit a wonderful ceramics and pottery outlet before arriving at our hotel in the Sorrento area.  Perhaps you will try a limoncello as an aperitif  before we enjoy a meal together tonight in Sorrento.

Day 2 DAY TRIP TO CAPRI

Today we will take a full day trip to the beautiful island of Capri. From the port we take the funicular through the citrus groves up to the town where we can spend the day wandering through the narrow shopping streets and enjoying the local food and drink. The more energetic may like to walk up to the impressive Tiberius’ Villa where the emperor reputedly indulged in a variety of Roman excesses.

DAY 3 SORRENTO - POSITANO - NAPLES - LONDON      

This morning we will visit a ceramics factory at Positano which makes exquisite hand painted pieces. We then transfer to Naples Airport for the return flight..
