An English Encounter This tour is designed primarily for those on their first or second trip to England and includes many of England's "must see" sights such as Stonehenge, Stratford, the Cotswold villages, the Tower of London and Westminster Abbey. We try to keep travelling to a minimum so that you spend more time at interesting places and less on the bus. As always, we can alter this itinerary to suit the needs of your particular group.

Day 1 FLIGHT Depart USA en route for England
Day 2 ARRIVE IN ENGLAND – SALISBURY (3 NIGHTS) Stonehenge, Old Sarum
Day 3 SALISBURY – PORTSMOUTH Salisbury Cathedral Roof Tour, Portsmouth (D-Day Museum or Naval Museum, including the Mary Rose and HMS Victory)
Day 4 BATH AND GLASTONBURY Roman Baths, Bath Abbey, Glastonbury Abbey, Glastonbury Tor
Day 5 SALISBURY - COTSWOLDS - BLENHEIM - STRATFORD (2 NIGHTS) Visits to Cotswold villages, Blenheim Palace
Day 6 STRATFORD Shakespeare’s Birthplace, Holy Trinity Church, Anne Hathaway’s Cottage, some free time in Stratford Theatre tickets for the Royal Shakespeare Theatre available in Stratford this evening.
Day 7 STRATFORD - WARWICK - OXFORD - LONDON (3 NIGHTS) Warwick Castle, Walking tour of Oxford, including Christ Church College,
Day 8 LONDON Westminster Abbey, Thames Cruise, Tower of London
Day 9 LONDON Sightseeing in London to suit your group. Perhaps the British Museum, the National Gallery or the British Library or maybe a trip on the London Eye..
Day 10 DEPARTURE Transfer to airport for flight back to the USA
