Flights

      Most tour operators will not book a  group's flights until a short time (often as little as 1 or 2 weeks) before departure. They do this in an attempt to take advantage of cheaper, last minute fares but, as the cost of the tour has already been agreed, there is no advantage to the group. As you can imagine, by leaving it late there is a significant risk of the airlines no longer being able to offer the best flight times, routings or even the correct dates. This policy is the reason for the horror stories that one hears about triple connections, long stopovers and dates being changed at short notice.

     Richardson and Gray will aim to have your flights reserved before we receive your confirmed booking and will normally be in a position to advise you of the times and the routing prior to accepting your booking. In any event, we guarantee to confirm your flights within one month of receiving your booking.
