Eine Kleine Chormusik This 9 day tour is based entirely in Salzburg and Vienna. It is designed to immerse the group in Austria's musical heritage including a back-stage tour at Vienna's Opera House and visits to sites connected with Mozart and Haydn. Although this version does not include them, it can easily be adapted to include a "Sound of Music" tour in Salzburg and/or evening tickets to a concert in the Vienna Opera House. Day 1 IN FLIGHT Depart USA en route for Munich
Day 2 ARRIVAL IN MUNICH – SALZBURG (3 nights) Herrenchiemsee or Nymphenburg Palace
Day 3 SALZBURG Introductory Walking Tour of Salzburg including Hohensalzburg, the Cathedral and Mozart’s Birthplace Provisional concert in Mirabell Palace, Orangerie or Kollegienkirche
Day 4 DAY TRIP TO BERCHTESGADEN AND KONIGSEE Boat Trip on Konigsee, Eagle’s Nest (subject to weather)
Day 5 SALZBURG – MELK – VIENNA (4 nights) Provisional concert in Melk Abbey
Day 6 VIENNA Hofburg Palace and Spanish Riding School, Schonnbrunn Palace
Day 7 DAY TRIP TO EISENSTADT AND ESTERHAZA Haydn’s Birthplace at Rohrau, Esterhaza Chateau
Day 8 VIENNA St.Stephen’s Cathedral, Backstage Tour of the Opera House Provisional concert in St.Stephen’s Cathedral
Day 9 DEPARTURE Transfer to airport for flight back to the USA
