Greece

    Almost all trips to Greece are principally to visit and seek inspiration from the Classical sites, the cradle of  what we call "Western Civilisation". Philosophy, Medicine, Mathematics, Astronomy, Architecture, Theatre, Sport - all of these areas of our lives were heavily  influenced by Ancient Greece.

    You will almost certainly wish to spend at least two days in Athens visiting the Acropolis and the National Archaeological Museum. Other must see, five star sights are Agamemnon's Mycenae, the Theatre at Epidauros, Olympia and Delphi. There is a fairly logical circuit to incorporate these and other sights of your choice. We normally use the charming, coastal town of Nauplion as our base in the eastern Peloponnese.
