Austria and Venice This tour is designed for those who want to combine the musical heritage of Austria's two greatest cities with a trip to the one and only Venice. In addition to the sights and sounds of Salzburg, Vienna and Munich, you will experience the majesty and beauty of the Alps during your day in Berchtesgaden and your drive from Salzburg to Venice through the heart of the Salzkammergut.

Day 1 IN FLIGHT Depart for Vienna
Day 2 ARRIVE IN VIENNA (3 nights) Introductory tour of Vienna, City Park (attend open air concert) optional for those not suffering from jet lag.
Day 3 VIENNA St.Stephen’s Cathedral, Backstage Tour of the Opera House Provisional concert in St.Stephen’s Cathedral
Day 4 VIENNA Hofburg Palace and Spanish Riding School, Schonnbrunn Palace Vienna State Opera Performance in the evening
Day 5 VIENNA – MELK - SALZBURG (3 nights) Provisional concert in Melk Abbey
Day 6 SALZBURG Introductory Walking Tour of Salzburg including Hohensalzburg, the Cathedral and Mozart’s Birthplace Provisional concert in Mirabell Palace, Orangerie or Kollegienkirche
Day 7 DAY TRIP TO BERCHTESGADEN AND KONIGSEE Boat Trip on Konigsee, Eagle’s Nest (subject to weather)
Day 8 SALZBURG – VENICE (2 nights) Alpine Drive, Evening Walking Tour of Venice
Day 9 VENICE St.Mark’s Cathedral, Doge’s Palace Provisional concert in St. Mark’s Cathedral
Day 10 DEPARTURE Transfer to airport for return flight
