An Irish Adventure The itinerary below was designed for an alumni group to include a balance of all the different and fascinating aspects of Irish culture. These range from castles to early Christian sites, a literature walk to a real Irish ceilidh, with visits to the Guinness Brewery and Waterford Crystal Factory as well. All this and the tour also includes the beautiful countryside and a little free time here and there to recharge the batteries. Day 1 IN FLIGHT Depart USA en route for Dublin
Day 2 ARRIVE IN DUBLIN (2 NIGHTS) You will be met at the airport by your guide and transferred to your hotel. Thereafter your guide will be available to assist with any initial sightseeing or orientation.
Day 3 DUBLIN Panoramic Tour of Dublin, Trinity College Library (Book of Kells), Dublin Literary Walk or Guinness Brewery Tour
Day 4 DUBLIN – GLENDALOUGH – WATERFORD (1 NIGHT) Glendalough, Waterford Crystal Factory and Shop
Day 5 WATERFORD – CASHEL – BLARNEY – KILLARNEY (3 NIGHTS) Rock of Cashel, Blarney Castle
Day 6 MUCKROSS HOUSE Afternoon free in Killarney for hiking or taking a jaunting car up to the Gap of Dunloe or perhaps just browsing in Killarney.
Day 7 RING OF KERRY
Day 8 KILLARNEY – CRAGGAUNOWEN – GALWAY – ENNIS (2 NIGHTS) Free time to explore Galway
Day 9 CLIFFS OF MOHER – BUNRATTY CASTLE Cliffs of Moher, Bunratty Castle Folk Park Final evening Medieval Banquet or Traditional Irish Ceilidh
Day 10 DEPARTURE FROM SHANNON Transfer to Shannon airport for flight back to the USA
