A Week at Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford

The opportunity to spend a week performing services at one of England's most august cathedrals whilst staying at one of England's most famous university colleges is a tempting combination.

Christ Church College was founded by Cardinal Wolsey in the reign of King Henry VIII, but the cathedral dates back to St.Frideswide and Saxon times. The Great Hall is the one used as Hogwart's dining hall in the Harry Potter films and, whilst a maths professor, Lewis Carroll wrote Alice in Wonderland here for the Dean's daughter, Alice Liddell.

In addition Oxford is geographically well placed to allow us to include a fascinating sightseeing programme.
