15 day Britain and Ireland This is intended as an " highlights" tour of Britain and Ireland. It only includes four concerts as there is a great deal of sightseeing included. If you prefer a tour that focuses more on the concert performances, we suggest that our England and Scotland or England and Ireland tours may be more suitable. As with all of our itineraries, it is a suggested one and we will be happy to amend it to suit the particular interests of your group. For instance, as this was originally designed for an adult group, a day browsing in Cotswold villages may not be top of the list of priorities for a high school group. Day 1 On flight to Shannon, Ireland
Day 2 Arrive at Shannon - Killarney (2 nights)
Day 3 Killarney Provisional concert in Killarney Cathedral Irish Ceilidh in the evening
Day 4 Killarney - Dublin (2 nights)
Day 5 Dublin Panoramic tour of Dublin, Trinity College Library (Book of Kells) or Guinness Brewery Tour Provisional concert in St.Patrick's Cathedral
Day 6 Morning ferry crossing to North Wales - Chester (1 night) Afternoon tea on the North Wales coast
Day 7 Chester - Lake District (1 night) Morning walk of the Roman Walls and shopping in Chester.
Day 8 Lake District - Edinburgh (2 nights) Morning visit to either William Wordsworth's Dove Cottage or Beatrix Potter's home
Day 9 Edinburgh Introductory tour of Edinburgh, Edinburgh Castle Provisional concert in St.Giles' Cathedral
Day 10 Edinburgh - York (1 night) Walking tour to include the Medieval walls and gates and York Minster
Day 11 York -Stratford - Cotswolds (2 nights) Shakespeare's Birthplace, Anne Hathaway's Cottage, Holy Trinity Church Provisional concert in Holy Trinity Church, Stratford-upon-Avon
Day 12 Cotswolds Day in the Cotswolds for enjoying the scenery and browsing
Day 13 Cotswolds - Oxford - London (2 nights) Morning in Oxford including walking tour of some of the colleges
Day 14 London Westminster Abbey, River Thames cruise, Tower of London
Day 15 Departure Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
